Lymphangioma

Endothelial cells of lymphangioma are:

Factor VIII negative (hemangiomas positive)

Ulex europeas agglutinin I positive (hemangiomas also positive)

Localized lymphangioma circumscription - single patch thick walled vesicles, less than 1 cm, onset later in life common (variant progressive LC - young, in college, in size)

Classic lymph circ - large patches with vesicles at birth (occasionally later), diffuse swelling underneath or rarely cystic hydroma lesion underneath skin verrucoid between vesicles, path cisterns with muscular coat

Cavernous - lipoma-like, mouth area number 1, in neck or axilla = cystic hygroma
